Portland/Minn

Pek and Rubio for Vonleh, CJ and Miller.

Portland has their backcourt dou.
Minn doesn't get a huge return but they shed a huge amount of cap space and continue with a young team.

I have actually seen reports that Portland might be interested in Rubio to pair up with Lillard.

To become the smallest backcourt. ;)

Pekovic has 3 years at nearly $36 mil left on his contract. While he has been out of the boot for two months, he has still not been cleared for basketball activities. Until that happens, I don't think any team is trading for him, especially small-market POR after the injury woes that team has faced.

The one thing I would say to that shrink is that Portland would take him if minny gave a valuable asset with him.

In respect to the trade: Portland isn't giving up that kind of young talent for two guys with injury problems. Long term I'd take vonleh over pek all day. You know what pek is (a good offensive player, a terrible defender). Vonleh has the talent to be the next Bosh. And I think McCollum is a much better compliment to lillard than Rubio. And his ceiling isn't that much lower than rubio's.

Minnesota is ready to compete now so why why would they trade a top five pointguard for players who could not make there team Portland has only one good player and they don't want a hogball
