More Knicks options

Clippers get Melo
Pacers get Griffin O'Quinn
Knicks get George Allen

Pacers could still play fast and not small
Clippers create better floor spacing with Melo
Knicks get loose offense and gain defense.

Wolves get Calderon-exp Afflalo-exp Grant
Hawks get Rubio
Knicks get Teague Martin

Teague/ Galloway/ Freddette
Batum/ Martin
George/ Thomas/ Thanasis
Porzingis/ D-Will/
Lopez/ Allen/ Hernangomez.

Do you really think you can get a prime Paul George for a declining Carmelo?

No chance Knicks get George for Melo. Griffin, possibly, George, absolutely not.

WTF are people talking about. Pacers get Griffin for George, oh ok. That fair. Melo is not declining he playing hurt and holding back on team not worth giving it your all. Management are not observing that and should be sitting him. U put Melo on Clippers right now you will see better effort. George will never be go to guy Melo is, but his all around game is better in the triangle.

Shizzee, I'm a knicks fan. You are failing to analyze one major point (long term value) and also you are ENTIRELY undervaluing George.

Do I agree that Melo has significant value for the next few years? Yes.

But I also realize you are talking about a vet that is a decent amount older, with a lot more tread on his tires. George is going to be great for this contract AND another contract. George is the best long term potential of all 3. Immediate potential, again, it is arguable. But I would actually consider George the best, then griffin and melo to be in the same boat.

As far as George never being the go to guy that Melo is? That is just wrong.

George is entirely capable of being the go to guy and leading a team to the playoffs. HE is doing it right now. Additionally, he is 25, he didn't playlast year basically, aka less wear and tear. He is for the most part a healthy healthy player. He is selfless and constantly getting better. He can guard 3 positions and his defense is elite.

If the knicks could get him, I'd do it in a heart beat. But its not reasonable. Its not reasonable that the clippers would (if they got him for griffin, whcih they wouldnt) would then trade george for Melo.

At this point, it is possible for the knicks to get griffin for melo. At least not out of the rhelm of possibility. And that wouldn't be bad at all. But this trade is just nonsense. You can disagree all you want, but as a Knicks fan, I can at least reasonably assess the players values. which apparently you fail at.

Is no one going to point out that the Wolves are basically giving up Rubio for two expiring contracts? Or that the Knicks somehow get Teague for practically nothing?

hahaha, no one even made it to that part of the post. They were too flustered by the nonsense of the 1st half.
