you traded away Shabbaz and Payne for 2nd round picks? Why?

You can get a first for shabazz.

Trade away Bazz and Payne for KJ and Muscala - don't see point since worse players are aquired, and picks will probably be worse.
Ellenson is fine, but would be liability on D, probably would rather pick Poetl, or even D. Davis, who has a lot of room to grow, but is already very good on D, and has some range.
Karasev, hummel, blake? don't see point. Besides, T. Jones playing decent recently, I take him as backup, and don't burry him on bench.

Guys, have you watched Bazz play lately? He has gotten worst, especially on defense.

But he can play - rebound and score, not like KJ who can only jump, and even ATL fans aren't that high on Muscala.

Bazz can definitely get a first round pick, and all of the rest of these moves are terrible.

Blake, Daniels, and Muscala are not worth the roster space and instead of signing Batum they could sign a couple of quality players for the money it takes to get Batum.

@wolwes, I only disagree regarding Batum, if I am spending my money, especially in situation like MIN, where I have some depth, I'd rather put it all on one player, who can make a difference. (you give him 4 year deal, and when it expires he'll be fresh 32 year old, so you'd play him through his prime, and renounce him at just right time. Not the nicest perspective, but that's bussiness)

Interesting take.
My points. I don't trade bazz. because as your second unit. He is going to stay exciting offensively. U just need to get deing into the second unit to help defensively.

Agree with trading Payne. Your offseason signings and trades are kinda garbage.

U throw max at Barnes and second max at batum and see who bites. Barnes should be number one. That get Lavine as your sixth man or Barnes as your small ball four.
Draft bpa at five our that pick gets traded for a starting quality player. This team needs another versital big like towns and to solidify the wings. This isn't asking a lot. Just patience.
