This trade does not help any teams. Knicks want younger pieces to build around Porzingis.

Well they dump Noah, without giving up a draft pick. So this is a winner for the Knicks
And T Ross, still has potential to become a good player

Denver receive a great player, that could lead that young core

And Farried would be a good fit in Toronto.

It helps Toronto, they shed 10 mil but helps win more games. Knicks lose more games and the Nuggets get a pinch better. But I doubt Denver wants Mello back, they'd rather keep Faried and Gallinari.
