Knicks offseason:

This works only if Blake Griffin leaves LA for another place:

To LAC - Melo

To NYK - Rivers, W. Johnson, B. Johnson

Should Griffin leaves, the Clippers would have approximately $12M to spend, which would not get them another star player. The difference between these two packages dollar wise, including Melo, trade kicker would be about $10M. If Melo were to waive his no trade clause, it would happen in the summer, and it would be to LA. Paul resigns with Melo there.

Draft:

Frank Ntilikina
Isaiah Hicks
Stash and dash

Sign

George Hill
P. J. Tucker

Knicks won't compete for top level FA's, so two quality vets who contribute defense and shooting without breaking the bank would be a win for NY.

Roster

PG - Hill, Ntilikina, Rivers
SG - Lee, Rivers
SF - Tucker, Thomas, Johnson
PF - Zinger, Kuzminskus, Isaiah
C- Hernangomez, O'Quinn, Noah.

Clippers have to part with at least a 1st rd pick.

Bruce Johnson is the 1st, as the Clips don't have one to trade for a few years.

The issue also is they won't have Noah making 17 mill as the 3rd strong center. Perhaps should. But they won't.

I actually disagree burger. I think that teams have become smart enough to know what works best for the team. With Hernangomez and O'Quinn playing so well, they'll get the bulk of the minutes. A minutes limit might also give Noah the ability to play like he has in the past while staying healthy.
