I don’t see the Warriors wanting to break up their chemistry by dealing Thompson for another player that can leave at the end of the year.

The thing is tat Leonard is cheaper, when K Thompson would wanted a max deal. And maybe K Thompson would try to be the main guy, while K Leonard can play off ball.

Gasupo- klayman plays better off the ball than any allstar today. Gsw are in trouble cap wise but why break up a winner in case?

Leonard is going to want max money wherever he goes. Thompson will take a slight paycut or a frontloaded or back loaded deal from gsw to stay there.

Thompson already said he would take a cut to stay. Not sure how Leonard would be cheaper.
