Highly doubtful the Hawks blow it up but if they do these are some interesting trade ideas they could do all at once

1)) ) Celtics trade Bradley James young and Brookyln pick this year to Hawks

Hawks trade al Horford

2)) ) ) Sixers trade nerlen Noel and staukis plus either Miami or okc pick to Hawks

Hawks trade: Jeff teages.

3)) ) ) Cavs trade shumpert

Hawks trade Kyle Krover and Justin holiday

This last trade seems like the Hawks lose but korver is 34 and shumpert is 25. So they go for the future.

Starting five after trades for Hawks

Schroeder/ Mack
Bradley/ hardaway
Bazmore/ sefolosha
Millsap/ Scott
Noel/ Tavares

But also will have a top five pick coming from Brookyln and another close to middle pick coming form Miami or okc.

Not a bad rebuild/ retooling measure. With Brookyln pick I'd choose best player available.

That's a bad trade for Boston.

Don't see the C's trading a likely top 5 pick and Avery Bradley for a possible rental in horford. And no way would the Hawks get Noel and a first round pick for only teague.

No way from the sixers. Noel by himself is more valuable than a middle of the pack PG.

Not enough offense

I don't really see any team taking these deals. they are all in Atlanta s favor.

How is it bad for Boston. They get al hortford! They need a win now guy to go with Thomas. The team would be defensive and have outside and inside threats. I'd like it. Yes you lose the Brookyln pick but who are you going to get at five that's better then hortford will be over the next five years? He's exactly what Boston needs.

Boston does it to do all take the jump to really contender. Good defense with interior and outside scoring threats.
They don't need a fifth overall pick to make the jump. They need a star.

Sixers do it to establish themselves with a veteran pg. probably sign beal or derozen or one of the many other sg next year to go along with Simmons okafor and Embiid and saric as sixth man.

Cavs do it to get a three point scoring threat that can actually make a wide open shot when lebron passes it to them.

True, he is what Boston needs, but is it worth giving up a top 5 pick and then have him walk away at the end of the season? The fact is Boston is not winning a 'Chip this year with or without him, so unless you're sure you can re-sign him, it's not worth giving up the pick and Bradley.

Are you kidding tregib? The celtics get RIPPED. a coupel month rental isn't worth their starting 2 and a likely top 5 pick.

The sixers (which i thought you were a fan of) get fleeced in that trade.

And the cavs are stuck with shumpert and his bloated contract. this was absolutely an awful post.

well first Al is a free agent at the end of the season and going to be 30. we aren't in a win now circumstance we are still building. and I wouldn't say its bad for Boston its just not what they are looking for. Ainge said he wasn't trading that pick for someone 30 or over. he wants stability, he doesn't want what happened last time, he doesn't want to win now and then go right back into rebuild.

Would prefer Celts get a younger player for that Nets' pick.

The whole point is to get hortford to actually stay with the Celtics of course. Like actually try getting out of NBA hell. The eight seed.
