Remember your dealing with (DA) Boston not trading smart not sure if melo fits our plans Durant, Davis, Marc gasol, butler, love, cousins, PG13 that's the players we are chasing other wise stay the course and hope we get lucky in the draft anyway the next 3 years is between OKC, GWS, SPURS, CAVS so happy to make the playoffs again.

Hawks keep milsap and get smart with clippers getting number one pick. plus hawks get two late first from philly. believe that's fair. Then hawks build through free agency around milsap and smart and others. Then clippers should trade Paul to Cleveland who will give up Irving who can grow worth Simmons. Unless they could get something better but who really going to gut there team for a potential rental. Lakers got best piece for them number two pick along with Russell and Williams. Lakers get doc, rivers and Paul. Lakers now have great pg, coach and cap space To sign free agents. Would stretch young or trade him and pick 32 to cavs for trade exemption or for a later pick to a team want a player they need at 32.

Then clippers would have russell, JJ red, Ingram, Simmons, Jordan plus others.

I don't think Philly is passing on Simmons for one year of Jeff Teague.

Philly wouldn't do it for sure, this is a 2 guys draft. They wouldn't pass on either Simmons or Ingram for a rental in a year they know they aren't ready to contend.

Huge perceived drop off from top two.

From my perspective, the absolute worst place to be in this draft is #3- which is exactly where the Sixers will land, again. At #3 there's no difference maker and its too high to draft a guard.

Hinkie's plan will work in reverse. The Sixers will have to give up an asset to move into the top 2. Or they'll have to reach to take a guard.
