The Clippers the 15th overall and the Wizards 19 1st

The Wizards get the 12th

The Wizards are heavy on wings and guards, but need a center to replace Gortat. They trade up to get Robert Williams. He's really the only center that will be available and worth taking between 10 and 20.

If the Clippers are blowing it up, they can really take anyone and given the fact that they own the 13th, they're essentially only moving back 2 spots and adding a pick would be a win for them. If they're trying to build around their current roster, they don't need a center. That means they're only losing one viable prospect by moving back and there are a ton of guards and wings at that part of the draft.

Or, the Wizards could trade down and dump some salary (they will be in the luxury tax next year) to get a center in the 20s.

What are the chances that you're getting your future starting center at 20? Also, they can probably get off of some of their smaller contracts for that move, but I don't see that being enough to get off of Mahimi. That's really the only movable player they have that would get them out of the luxury. Imo, they should make a move that is going to help them take the next step.
