AD is untouchable, the Celtics don't have cap space, if you have AD and Horford why would you need Dwight, and in what world does Matthews start over Tatum.

Most of this is nonsense, but the Howard part might have legs. The Nets will be paying him anyway, and signing him allows the Celtics to let Baynes go if he asks for too much. Howard would have to take things seriously for a change, keep his mouth shut, accept not starting and stop whining about not getting the ball in the post. Not sure he could do all that.
