Another okafor trade. but with a twist!

Cleveland (after the lose to the warriors. ) NY
Philly.

Phi gives
-okafor
-Miami pick
-Okc pick
-saric

Get
-Kevin love

Cleveland gives
-Kevin love

Get
-Carmelo

NY gives
-Carmelo

Get
Okafor
Miami pick
Okc pick
Saric

Not sure if Philly give enough up but it would help Philly on the path to become a real NBA team again. Carmelo and LeBron always want to play together and NY would get okafor to put next to Porzingis and some picks to build.

Way to much for melo. The guy is a old bust now on a bad contract.

Just do melo for love straight up. Lebron is the only one who wou do over pay for melo since he runs the Cavs now.

I disagree, I think philly gives up too much. Take saric out of the deal and I think it's a fair deal.

Melo being worth all of that or not is inconsequential. If it were a Philly/ Knicks only deal, then I woul suggest Philly doesn't do it, but all Philly fans have to think about is it's that package for Love, which is who they get in this deal.

Love for Melo doesn't work, what do the Knicks need with another PF when they have Zinger. Adding Okafor means flipping Lopez somewhere else, which I cou see them doing. Zinger could play Center, but I see him staying at the four more likely.

How would Philly be giving up too much? Saric has never played in the NBA and is unproven, and Okafor is good but not great so far, and you get a player who fits next to Noel perfectly. And honestly Melo isn't worth is but LeBron loves him.
