OKC picks up Thomas Robinson as a good 2nd/ 3rd bench option for the Center position.
He's got all the attributes they will need from that spot.
He's got a high motor, good D and can score or finish in the post.
He's perfect for a good 10-15 mins a night, won't be a turnstile on defense and should be able to get him for the player minimum.

He signed a contract in Russia, playing for Khimki now.

Thunder, like everyone else, do not want Anderson and his insane contract either.
I have a better idea,
NY gets :
Kanter
Singler
McDermott
(Chicago's 2018 2nd Rd pick)
OKC gets :
Anthony.

Why would the Thunder ever be involved in a trade getting rid of Kanter and taking on the monstrosity of a contract that is Anderson?

Huh?
Why are the Thunder involved in this insane cup of soup helping the Rockets and Cavs get better?

In no OKC world would they dump Kanter's large 3 year contract for an even larger longer Anderson contract. Anderson requires more playing time for less points and rebounds. While both are equal defensive liabilities. Gordon doesn't work financially, but Ariza would, however he wouldn't be enough of a reason for the Thunder to be willing participants in helping the Rockets acquire a 3rd All-Star to their team.
