Clippers trade Blake griffin

Sixers trade: Noel and Sixers first pick this year

Clippers need a an influx of young talent. This gives them a player this year in Noel. Excellent steals and rim protector to pair with Jordan also excellent in that regard. Chris paul and those two bigs will be deadly. Then add a Ben Simmons and the clippers are set for future and for the present.

Sixers gets a legit star they can build with in the future. He's away from la so that influence should be gone which would be good for him. Sixers pair him with okafor and wait on Embiid and saric to be NBA ready. They then sign some free agents with the tons of cap space they will have available.

They could maybe be swayed into a deal like that but not with Noel. He's not good enough first of all and paired together with Jordan, would be an offensive disaster.

Tre I could see this being a trade.

Phi trades Noel, Covenington, this years 1st and a future first in 2018 or 19 whichever 76ers pick.

Lac- Griffin, Stephenson

This way philly gets two players who can make an impact to give them something to look forward too. Clips do this to get two young talents who has pretty good potential for both. Plus a possible top 3 pick and a future pick who I assume will be in the top 10 still in two or three years. Clips get a lot of return while Philly finally has a Cornerstone to pair with Okafor.

I think Noel has proven to be a very similar type of player as Jordan. Jordan is much bigger but Noel is much quicker. More important to Noel has proven to be much better when playing with a Solid passing point guard. Paul would really help give him those easy points. More importantly this deal is centered around Ben Simmons. Young legit star potnential. That's the real draw for the clippers. A chance to select a top prospect while not tanking. Simmons would be the star on a highly defensive team.

Ben Simmons is being described as a once in a generation type player. Is Blake Griffin? How many gms in the league make that deal? And include Noel? The one that does loses his job. Griffin is a top 15player maybe I just don't make that deal. Nothing against Griffin, he's an all-star. Just not dealing Simmons for him.
