Lol. Ok sixers.

The value is good, but why would Washington trade J Wall?

I think Washington needs to rethink things right now. They struck out in free agency and I do not see future free agents coming to Washington. Their lineup right now has them at a potential playoff team that will be bounced out after the first round. Their biggest trade asset is John Wall. I think if Boston does not want any parts of this trade then the sixers should add in their Lakers draft pick to Washington. Washington needs to reload at this point. All rumors point to a strong draft next year and if the Wizards can get 2 top 10 picks with okafor and beal then they could be looking good for the future.

I don't understand what upside people see in Okafor. He's unatheltic, can't spread the floor, needs to be in a slow tempo offense and doesn't play good D at all. I understand he can put up 22 a game, but so can Rudy Gay, which isn't much of an accomplishment.

wall isn't going anywhere.

And no need to include Boston if wall is on the market ( which he's not) . If wizards are tradinG Wall then they are rebuilding. Sixers have plenty of assets to a deal straight with the wizard without helping Boston for no reason get better.

Sixers would need to add a pick instead of Covington for the value to be closer.

Terrible value for wall. He's a top 5 PG. He's got similar (if not more) value than cousins. I don't see any way Phili gets wall without including Simmons. And I don't think they'd even do that without wall asking out or the team completely imploding this year. He's still young (25), Washington could still rebuild around him.

Mr. Best. watch Okafor play before all the regurgitation of misinformed information.

I can see okafor being just as good as cousins in three years. Probably an even better offensive player.

Miller - Top 5 pg - curry, cp3, Irving, Westbrook, Lillard. Wall is not top 5, but he is top 10.

Meh, I didn't make a list. Fine, wall is top 6. I'd put him equal with Irving. Either way, it's a terrible deal.

And no, okafor has no where near the value of cousins (who has no where near the value of wall to me) . Okafor won't come close to the quality of player.

Okafor at best-Bynum without the knee problems.

Id prefer wall at this point to paul, simply due to age. Better to build around youth.

And simmonsorbust. you are clearly the misinformed.

He is slow. He does need a slow offense (hint. that's what down low centers prefer when they need to use post moves) and his defense is awful.

As good or better than Cousins eh? Cousins is an elite rebounder. He can shoot the 3. Is a great big man passer. And is surprisingly athletic with decent defense. Ignore the rebounding and defense, okafor is a downlow scorer, that's it. and absolutely not a passer.

So I guess if okafor learns to rebound better, shoot beyond 10 feet from the basket, learn defense, learn to pass and become athletic. well then perhaps he can match him. But then again. he'd need to do all that and then some to be better than Cousins.

Theking, wouldn't even call that an accurate assessment. Bynum could play d and rebound well.

Not even kidding, Okafor is vucevic with a less diverse offensive skill. If Okafor is reeeeeally considered such an elite talent, just the best thing ever. then why do most sixers fans have him coming off the bench next year. He is being replaced by a player who has yet to play a single minute in the nba (embiid) . Perhaps you should learn about him before restating misinformed crap simmonsorbust.

At last a laker reference glad to hear the king calling okAfor a all star like Bynum, giving him his just due.

KING do you really think A. Bynum was a bum in the league? he was good at his position, he just wasn`t great at it. I really thought he did well to be spoiled and lazy, demanding a starting job in LA and learning it from the recently "retired" star in LA.

You're right burger, rushed a little bit without explaining again. Bynum was average/ good on defense to a point where okafor will never get. Okafor's laziness and offensive game reminds me of Bynum.

Hamburger-similar to yourself I watched every Sixers game last year, and on multiple occasions he ran the floor and finished on the offensive end on the fast break. Centers aren't supposed to be gazelles leading the fast break and ones that are (besides the rare few. Superstars) usually lack in some other department of thier game. Like Noel who weighs 220. He would be destroyed by okafor on both ends of the floor as many other similar players (wcs type of guys) who everyone seems to value so highly will be in the coming years.

The moves he shows consistently offensively don't come from someone with slow feet as you say. I agree he needs to move better defensively, but just like every other one of these young guys we claim to have potential on here, he has time to atleast develop into an above average defender.

Lastly, the Okafor and cousins comparison made me laugh.

Yeah, I know king. It's just hysterical at this point. You have most sixers fans on here in one thread going, Okafor, unbelievable talent. Future perennial all star. Game changer. Franchise player.

Then literally the next thread going, yeah, were going to bench him now for a player that hasn't played a second in the NBA and missed half of his one college season, and barely played before college. Okafor is so incredible, he is benched for Embiid, who has very little basketball experience. Does this sound a bit contradictory to anyone besides myself? Seriously!
