I just think the fact that knight is off the bench at such a steep price for a 6th man 70 million. They aren't going anywhere this year so the suns can get Bayless next two years for way cheaper option as a back up 1 and 2 guard.

But even for the price. All they get a second rounder. Knight isn't a game changing player but still. Second rounders are 95percent failures. Maybe you get lucky and get a back up with a second round pick but that's lucky. Knight is better then a second.

Not as far away as I initially thought but not there.
Bulls need saric replaced with a high pick and the pacers need one of the bigs in that trade.
Maybe add Noel to the George trade to even it out a bit.
Then take out the thunder pick from the pacers trade and move it and Covington to the Bulls trade.
That might make up for the lack of top pick involved there.
But idk if even that enough for butler.

Would think that a top pick would need to be involved. If the Lakers pick comes over this year maybe the Sixers keep their pick and trade Okafor, Lakers pick and a couple more assets for Butler.

Max is go for butler is Sixers first. Lakers pick and Noel or Okafor. Nothing more is need. Butler isn't that good. He's a great player but not super elite.
In comparison.
Paul George is worth the Sixers pick, lakers pick, and Okafor.
Jimmy butler I couldn't possibly give a penny more then that kind of package.

O ok. I didn't read it correctly. Okafor and the Sixers first would be a solid price for me. It's a lot to give up even with that in my opinion but it could be worth it if we pull in a derozen in free agency. Derozen doesn't come here unless we make a big trade.

Then Sixer's should draft there own players and develop them with right coach instead tryna low ball for Butler when the bulls groomed him to what he is so they get way more then having to regroom another player and get nothing really extra and okafor may not be able to be groomed to a two way player. Plus he signed for four years in his prime. So Philly need to keep tanking and draft quality players instead of hurt players. If embiid was healthy most like Philly wouldn't even drafted okafor, that's what you get for drafting hurt players you fail.

Lakers fan. I'm pretty sure the only regret coming from that draft is the lakers taking Russell so early and missing on Okafor and prozingus. Guy the lakers could of put directly into the starting line up and been promising future player. Instead they got Russell who has shown the world very little to say he will be anything.

USA if you read the post I was responding to it makes more sense why I brought Russell poor play up again.
He was fine until he said the Sixers wouldn't have drafted Okafor if Embiid was healthy. Okafor was the clear choice in this draft to go one or two. Towns had an amazing ride to the top and deserved it but the lakers completely dropped the ball. Russell may not be a bad player. But drafting him over Oakfor when the lakers clearly had a huge hole at center was one of the dumbest decisions I've seen in the NBA. Sixers would of been happy to take Russel At three but lakers clearly just made a bad choice. It will be a regret they will have for a while.

Mike- if Okafor was on the thunder he would be putting up the same numbers if not more points ppg. He gets double teamed as a sixer he wouldn't be getting that treatment as part of the thunder.
