Houston: Harris, Ross, MCW (waive)

Orlando: Wall, 2022 1st (most favorable between Houston, Brooklyn, and Miami), 2023 1st (Houston)

Houston gets 2 good bench pieces and gets rid of Wall and his contract

Orlando gets a Vet PG that can mentor Fultz, Anthony, and Suggs, and gets a couple first round picks for taking Wall's contract. With no pressure in Orlando, Wall may be able to thrive.

1.) 15 Sep 2021 18:34:21
I don't think Houston gives Wall just to give him away. If they add multiple picks especially their own, they would want a player that can grow with their core, not bench vets.

2.) 15 Sep 2021 20:15:32
I’m willing to give up Fultz.

3.) 15 Sep 2021 21:26:37
I bet you would.

29 Jul 2021 17:08:58
Just read that the Knicks are trying to trade for Orlando's Terrance Ross, with one of their late 1st Rd picks tonight being the cost.

I would try to expand it to Ross and Orl's 2nd Rd pick for #21 and Knox.

1.) 29 Jul 2021 17:36:51
Report I read online said pick #32 was the pick being offered as Knicks are still hoping to combine #19 and #21 to move up in the draft.

2.) 29 Jul 2021 18:53:28
Well there must be multiple reports reporting multiple things Fredman, obviously it's a guessing game until it happens or doesn't. Imagine that.

3.) 29 Jul 2021 18:56:17
Orlando is trying to move into the back end of the first round, not gain an additional 2nd. Unless they package 32 and 33 for a late 1st.

4.) 29 Jul 2021 19:22:21
As a Celtic fan I'm glad to hear it. If NY gets Ross, they're less likely to steal Fournier.

5.) 29 Jul 2021 20:54:32
Knox for Ross is all your getting. Why is everyone from this state off.

Sac: Gary Harris and #5

Orl: Hield, Bagley, #9, 2022 1st (top 3 protected, unprotected in 2023)

Sacramento gets cap relief (Harris expiring contract as opposed to Hield's remaining 3 years) and moves up in the draft, possibly taking Barnes or Kuminga to replace Bagley.

Orlando takes a shot at rehabbing Hield and Bagley's careers, moves slightly down in the draft, takes possibly 2 of Moody, Bouknight, Sengun, and Jalen Johnson, and picks up a protected 1st next year. The difference in cap fits into the trade exception Orlando has from the Fournier deal

1.) 28 Jul 2021 20:56:37
Mannnn no! 😡 Magic definitely declined the deal.

2.) 28 Jul 2021 20:57:30
Jesus is not available at 5, so you might want to tone it down on the value of the 5th pick. 🗑poster.

3.) 28 Jul 2021 21:20:42
CLICK. Sound of a phone being hung up on Orlando.

Why does the Kings need "cap relief" when Bagley is also essentially an expiring contract. Hield's contact is essentially "cap relief" since salaries diminishes every year. Plus, Hield is reported into other and better trades than this.

4.) 28 Jul 2021 21:28:01
You are one to talk Shizzee, this is fair value far and away. Sacramento wants to get rid of Hield and Bagley, they do that, get cap relief, and move up in the draft and get a much better player than they would if they stay where they are at.

This trade is exponentially better than anything you have ever posted on this site Shizzee.

5.) 28 Jul 2021 22:39:29
Friedman, I just scoured the internet to find any rumors of trades involving Hield. All I found was this:

To the Lakers for Harrell, Kuzma and #22

To the 76ers with Bagley, either Fox or Haliburton, 3 1sts, and 3 swaps for Simmons

Are you trying to tell me either of those deals are better than what I proposed? Harrell and Kuzma are decent players but not really what the Kings need, and mortgaging the future and shipping off one of your best players for Simmons who has proven he can't be the guy?

In my proposal, the Kings get a much better player at 5 than they would at 9, get rid of 2 players they want to get rid of, get a decent bench piece in Harris, and open up cap space to chase a FA. What's not to like?

6.) 28 Jul 2021 23:55:07
The player at #5 a big that the Kings desperately need? So TO THE KINGS, it's not really that great to move up to #5 from #9.

The 2022 first is almost enough on its own to move up to #5 from #9. Why are the Kings tossing in talent as well? Your salary reduction reasons don't make much sense when Hield has trade value.

The Lakers trade for Hield is better because it addresses the teams needs. A big in Harrell in case we don't resign Holmes, Kuzma to be a backup stretch and protection for when Bagley gets hurt/ traded. And the pick at #22 can be for a bench scorer with Halliburton moving into the starting rotation.

There is also a Hield to Memphis rumor as well you seemed to have missed.

7.) 29 Jul 2021 00:30:15
ShaqIsBack no!

8.) 29 Jul 2021 21:33:18
MD, this is the kind of realistic trade that will help Orlando in the long run. Hield will contend for the starting SG position and Bagley will help bolster the PF/ C unit off the bench. Plus they still get 2 top 10 picks this year and pick up another 1st Rd pick next year or the year after.

Orlando could roll this lineup out

Anthony/ Fultz
Hield/ Hampton/ Moody
Okeke/ Ross
Isaac/ Bagley
Carter Jr/ Bamba/ Sengun

Give it a few years to gain chemistry and that team will be fun to watch for sure.

Orlando/New Orleans

Rumor has it New Orleans wants to trade #10 for an established player to help Zion.

Orlando: #10

New Orleans: Terrance Ross and Orl 2nd Rd 2021

Terrance Ross is a great bench piece and can help elevate that play for New Orleans

Orlando would have 5, 8, & 10 and possibly can draft in order Kuminga, Bouknight, and Sengun. Sengun is going to be good but needs more condition and to build some mass. Orlando can draft and stash him for a year and then bring him over. Kuminga and Bouknight will contribute off the bench and help Orlando continue their rebuild.

1.) 10 Jul 2021 16:44:54
Ross doesn’t seem like the level of player they’d need to move #10.

2.) 10 Jul 2021 16:57:44
Magic say yes I love it.

3.) 10 Jul 2021 17:27:34
#10 in this draft is not a can't miss player. This draft is deep with role players after the top 5. Terrence Ross is a great off the bench scorer, plus he does a lot of good things. People, especially on this site, often underrate just how good TRoss is.

4.) 10 Jul 2021 16:38:08
I would start kuminga with Isaac as my forwards.

5.) 10 Jul 2021 17:59:07
Except Nola doesn’t need scorers. They were terrible on defense. They can save their money and just draft Moody or K. Johnson. Best bet to to trade 10 with Bledsoe or Adams.

6.) 10 Jul 2021 18:12:54
Classifying Ross as an "established player", really?

A "great bench piece" does not help Zion.

Thinking #10+Adams for #13+Turner makes more sense to NO. Especially if there is a 3rd team willing to take Adams.

Or simply drafting Johnson or Mitchell @ #10 to help the defense out.

7.) 11 Jul 2021 17:52:56
Ross is not worth 10th. Nothing worth it on that crap roster.

8.) 12 Jul 2021 09:46:05
Ross won't get u a 1st. If Damion Mitchell is not drafted after 9 picks, he would be Orlando best player with the 10th pick. Their are several players that are can't miss in this draft. I trade Fultz Isaac packaged for 10th pick. That is what I think Magic players, you and md. You trade Vucevic Fournier your 2 best players 🤣🤣🤣.

04 Jul 2021 02:45:00

Orlando: Kevin Love, #3 pick

Cleveland: Terrance Ross, Gary Harris, #5 pick, #8 pick

Orlando already has a lot of young players, in this trade they take on Kevin Love and his contract, and trade up in the draft for a better fit for their team (either Green, Suggs, or Mobley whoever is available at 3, most likely Green)

Cleveland gets rid of Love and his contract, gets 2 really good bench pieces, and pick up #5 & #8 in the process.

I know a lot of y'all will say it's not enough to move up to #3 but factor in getting rid of Love and it's a deal that could happen.

1.) 04 Jul 2021 02:52:38
Well I like it ShaqIsBack Magic say yes 😁.

2.) 04 Jul 2021 03:29:23
Just not seeing Cleveland trading down. Be better off with the superstar draft prospect.

3.) 04 Jul 2021 14:11:51
They can still get one of the top 5, most likely Kuminga, and get rid of Love and his contract. It's a win win for Cleveland.

4.) 04 Jul 2021 14:30:06
I honestly don't mind it. I think Orlando would have to throw in someone like Bamba, but the premise is good.
Cleveland gets rid of Love leaving them enough cap to resign both Allen and Sexton, then they have two picks to pick up Kuminga and whoever at 8.

5.) 04 Jul 2021 14:45:27
I think magic could give bamba not the 5th and 8th. Love is a negative right now.

6.) 04 Jul 2021 15:48:09
I just value the ability to possibly choose between Suggs, Kuminga and Mobley than being stuck selecting the "leftovers".

Now if the Cavs are wanting to select Kuminga @ #3, then this is a totally different conversation because they will most likely still be able to get him @ #5.

7.) 04 Jul 2021 16:23:18
@Fredman that’s what I’m thinking. Kuminga is the best positional fit for the Cavs if they are keeping Sexton, Suggs is a Pg I believe and Green a SG, which doesn’t make sense with their backcourt of Garland / Sexton. Kuminga is a SF and fits a need.

8.) 04 Jul 2021 18:51:52
@websjac. Drafting based upon fit has very, very rarely gone well for the team making the draft selection.

Portland selecting Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan because of fit is the most classic example.

9.) 05 Jul 2021 02:00:08
The Cavs would have to think about it, but Green and Mobley are potential franchise changers.

10.) 05 Jul 2021 05:07:14
I wonder what the interest would be in taking Bamba instead of the #8. I do think there’s a good framework for a deal…. especially if the Cavs really do like Kuminga.

Orlando would rather have Fultz's contract than Love's. If the picks were unprotected they may do the deal but not with the protections as they are likely to fall into top 10 range. Either way, adding Isaac makes the trade unbelievable. Isaac when healthy is in the running for DPOY.

The Magic do not want or need Bertans or Konchar. They don't fill needs on the team and Bertans is one of the top 10 worst contracts in the NBA right now. The Magic need the young guys to get playing time, and maybe another vet wing on a team friendly contract, not overpaid underperforming players like Bertans.

Taking Wall and his contract is at least 2 1st Rd picks, Ross is worth a late 1st, Harris probably a late 1st or 2 2nds, Bamba and House might be equal value but Bamba is probably higher as well.

For this trade to work it would have to be at least Wall, House, 3 1sts, and probably 2 2nds for Harris, Bamba, and Ross.

Washington adds at least a 1st Rd pick to this right?

When healthy, he was in DPOY talks. He may not have won the award if he had stayed healthy, but to be mentioned in those talks as young as he is I think it's not that much of an overpay. Value is determined by what someone is willing to pay you, so Orlando clearly thinks he is worth it. Only time will tell.
